Terms of Use
The company “ARGYRIOU LAM. DANIIL”, headquartered in Thessaloniki, 12 Maroneias Street, VAT No. 079368180, Tax Office D’ Thessaloniki, hereinafter referred to for the purposes of this document as the “Company”, offers its services under the following Terms of Use.
The client must designate in advance an appropriate space for the installation of the equipment and access to it at the event venue. The arrival and assembly of the equipment will take place 45 to 60 minutes before the agreed event start time, and it will be available to guests 5 minutes before the agreed start time. The equipment requires a minimum space of 2.5m width × 3.5m length. The client must ensure that there are no obstacles that could hinder the delivery and assembly of the equipment. A Schuko-type electrical power outlet must be available within a maximum distance of 15 meters from the installation area. If the above criteria are not met and the company is unable to put the equipment into operation within the predetermined time frame, the client shall not be entitled to any compensation. After the equipment has been assembled, it cannot be moved or relocated. Any relocation requires disassembly, which can only occur after the end of the service hours. If the event takes place outdoors, the equipment must be placed in an area protected from weather conditions, such as rain and wind. In the event of weather conditions that may endanger the equipment, the Company reserves the right to temporarily suspend operation for as long as necessary. The client is not entitled to compensation for any lost time.
The client bears full and exclusive responsibility for any damage or loss to the provided equipment resulting from misuse by the client or their guests. Indicative causes of damage include but are not limited to: Physical contact that results in equipment damage
Damage caused by spilled drinks and/or food on the equipment. The client agrees and undertakes unconditionally to compensate the Company within 30 days of the incident.
Children under the age of 12 or below the required height must be accompanied by a guardian. Children are not allowed to play or run around the PhotoBooth area. In the event of damage, the client will be charged for the repair costs. Guests are not allowed to consume drinks in the PhotoBooth area. Drinks must be removed, and if a guest refuses to comply, the attendants may refuse service.
The client acknowledges that a deposit of 40% of the total amount is required to secure the booking, payable via bank transfer. The remaining balance must be paid no later than 1 day before the event date. For bookings made less than 5 days before the event, the client must pay the full amount immediately. Any request for changes to the event date or time must be made in writing as soon as possible. Changes are subject to the Company’s availability and require signing a new rental agreement. If the client cancels or postpones the rental of the photobooth equipment and services at least 90 calendar days before the event, the client is entitled to a refund of 50% of the deposit, while the remaining 50% is retained by the Company as a contractual penalty, agreed as fair and reasonable. If the client cancels or postpones the event less than 90 calendar days before the event, the client is not entitled to any refund of the deposit, which is retained by the Company as a contractual penalty. The Company is not liable for failure to fulfill its obligations due to force majeure, including but not limited to: Extreme weather conditions, Earthquakes, Floods, Fires, Emergencies. In such cases, the client is entitled to compensation equal to 50% of the agreed fee. In case of cancellation, no refund will be given for the cost of a Custom Backdrop. The event venue must provide parking space; otherwise, additional charges may apply for the duration of the event, or the booking may be cancelled if equipment loading/unloading is not possible.
Our Company fully complies with the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Users of our services are photographed with their consent (terms of use are always available on-site upon request). Any personal information provided to us (e.g., email address) is not stored in our information systems.
In the rare event of a technical malfunction, the Company reserves the right to attempt repairs within 60 minutes, extending the service time accordingly. If the repair is not possible, the client is entitled to compensation calculated based on the percentage of lost service hours.
Example: If the scheduled service time is 21:00 – 01:00 and an irreparable malfunction occurs at 00:00, 1 hour out of 4 is lost, therefore the client is entitled to 25% compensation.
A prerequisite for compensation is that the client has paid the full amount in advance. Otherwise, the final amount will be calculated through offsetting the payable amount, compensation, and deposit, with the remaining balance paid by either the Company or the client.
This compensation policy applies ONLY to main PhotoBooth functions, namely: Photo capture, Photo printing. Other functions that may be affected by external factors (e.g., email sending) or are considered secondary (e.g., props or photo envelopes) are not covered.
In any case, compensation cannot exceed the total amount paid by the client.
The start and end times of the services are agreed with the client and represent the actual operating hours. Equipment assembly takes place 45–60 minutes before the start time, and disassembly occurs after the end time. Usage time is continuous and cannot be split into segments (e.g., a 4-hour package cannot be divided into separate time blocks). The latest possible start time is 22:00 (10:00 PM). Any later start time incurs an additional €30 per hour night surcharge.
The Company reserves the right to choose the most appropriate method of informing guests, such as: Informing them upon arrival, Informing them at their tables. The Company may omit the information process if conditions do not allow it (e.g., heavy guest flow). Information is provided per group/table, not individually to each guest. While the Company strives to provide the best possible service performance, it bears no responsibility for: Guest participation, The final number of photos or prints, The participation of the event host.
All photos are intellectual property of the Company. Commercial use of the photos by the client is strictly prohibited without the Company’s consent. The Company reserves the right to use and publish photos without prior notice. Photos depicting minor children will not be published. All photos will include the Company logo and/or contact information. Guests will be able to download event photos from a password-protected area, with the password generated automatically by the system.
These terms and any contractual or non-contractual relationships arising from them are governed by Greek law. Any dispute that may arise will fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Thessaloniki, even for non-permanent residents of Greece.
Videos can be shared using 2 methods:
In the second case, in order to complete the sharing, the video must be uploaded to a Cloud service and then the guest must be able to download it to their device via the link they received. In order to upload the video, a) there must be sufficient 4G / 5G network coverage for our routers to operate, or b) the venue where the event is held must provide us with sufficient connectivity via WIFI. In case the above conditions are not met, guests will be able to receive their videos after the end of the event and no later than 2 business days.
For optimal operation of the 360° Booth, a flat and solid surface measuring 4×4 meters is required (not grass or soft soil). Otherwise, platform vibration may occur, resulting in:
Shaky video footage (for which the Company bears no responsibility).
Potential safety concerns, in which case the Company reserves the right to limit the maximum allowed weight (number of guests simultaneously using the platform).
